A new board for the Guyana Prison Service has been appointed which will see as its head, University of Guyana lecturer Dr. Mellissa Ifill.
Minister of State Joseph Harmon on Friday announced the Board’s appointment and listed its members.
Harmon said that Dr. Ifill will be chairman and that other members are acting Director of Prisons Gladwin Samuels, Kim Kyte-Thomas, Geeta Chandan- Edmond, Diana Khan, Daniella Mc Calmon, Sylvia Conway, Captain Gerald Gouveia, Rabindra K Chand, Mahendra Tacordat, Deodat Tillack and Shireen Andrews.
