A Prashad Nagar man was yesterday brought before a city court on a charge that he sexually assaulted an underage girl.
The charge states that Michael Sampson on February 19th, 2018, at Prashad Nagar, unlawfully assaulted a girl under the age of 16. It is alleged that the man fondled the girl’s breasts.
Sampson was charged during in-camera proceedings in Georgetown before acting Chief Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus, who subsequently granted him his release on $75,000 bail.
