The man who allegedly opened fire on a group of domino players at Mahaica two months ago leaving two persons wounded was on Monday evening arrested and is likely to be charged today.
The suspect has been identified as Andrew Motilall.
Divisional Commander (ag) Edmond Cooper yesterday confirmed with Stabroek News that ranks acting on information arrested the suspect around 8pm on Monday at a location in Annandale, East Coast Demerara.
“We have been looking for this guy (Motilall) a while now”, Cooper said.
