Ganja convict gets three years

A man was yesterday sentenced to three years in jail after he was found guilty of ganja trafficking.

Delon Andrews was found guilty of having possession of 39.66 grammes of cannabis for trafficking on October 13th, 2017, at Stabroek Market.

Andrews had denied the charge but was found guilty of the crime by Magistrate Faith McGusty at the conclusion of his trial in Georgetown, where he was sentenced yesterday.

The case was prosecuted by Sergeant Seon Blackman.
