Seven held over murder of Dominican miner

Seven persons were arrested on Sunday in connection with the murder of Dominican Republic national Pedro Pablo Rosario, who was fatally wounded on Friday when armed bandits invaded a mining camp at Black Water Backdam, Cuyuni River.

Commander of ‘F’ Division (ag) Kevin Adonis told Stabroek News that the seven were brought to Georgetown yesterday to be questioned by ranks of the Criminal Investigation Department.

They remained in custody up to last evening.
