Mason remanded over car stolen in robbery

A mason was yesterday remanded to prison, after he was accused of receiving a car stolen from a taxi driver, who was shot in the head during the robbery.

It was alleged that Kevin Jordan, 29, on or between April 26th and May 5th, at Perry Street Tucville, received a silver-grey Toyota Allion motorcar, valued $2,200,000, knowing same to be stolen.

It was further alleged that Jordan, on May 5th, at Georgetown, fraudulently inserted licence plate PVV 6204 on a Toyota Allion motorcar, originally registered as HC 1720.
