A minibus conductor was yesterday charged with sexually molesting a woman, who says he touched her without her consent.

Roy Nedd, who appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in George-town, allegedly committed the act while the complainant was walking near the junction of Regent and Camp streets.

The charge, which was read against him at an in-camera hearing, alleges that Nedd, 39, of Lot 24 Norton Street, on March 12th, at Regent and Camp streets, touched the 21-year-old woman in a sexual way without her consent.

Nedd denied the allegation.

Chief Magistrate McLennan later granted the accused his release on $30,000 bail and adjourned the matter until May 29th, when it will be heard by Magistrate Judy Latchman.
