Mon Repos businessman on $1M bail after denying causing cyclist’s death

A Mon Repos businessman was yesterday granted $1 million bail after he denied a charge of causing the death of a cyclist by dangerous driving.

Ramanand Jagdeo was read a charge by Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman alleging that on February 22nd, 2018, at Peter’s Hall Public Road, he drove PRR 4395 in a manner dangerous to the public, thereby causing the death of Alexander Appiah.

Jagdeo pleaded not guilty.
