Indian companies bid US$12.7m and US$15.6m for supply of northwest ferry

Two Indian companies yesterday tendered  bids to the Transport and Harbours Department for the construction and delivery of a ferry to Guyana. The bids ranging between US$12M and US$15M were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board at Main and Urquhart streets. This ferry is for the northwest and is to be funded under a Line of Credit from India.
