A security guard was yesterday remanded to prison after he was charged with wounding another individual who remains hospitalised.
It is alleged that Kevin Gudge, 21, of Good Hope, Essequibo, on November 29th, at Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo, unlawfully and maliciously wounded Harshama Chowtie with intent to maim, disfigure or disable.
Gudge denied the charge, which was read to him by Magistrate Faith McGusty in Georgetown.
