Melicia Andrews, the Swan Village, Soesdyke-Linden Highway woman who was brutally chopped by her partner following an argument one week ago remains hospitalised and is unable to move about.
This is according to Janet Domingo, the injured woman’s mother who told Stabroek News that Andrews was transferred from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Georgetown Public Hospital last Friday to the High Dependency Unit (HDU) where she is being kept for observation.
Domingo added that her daughter had since undergone a series of surgeries and is currently unable to move due to a chop she sustained in her neck.
