A man charged with robbery was granted bail yesterday after he denied the charge when it was read against him in a city court.
Dave Benjamin, 38, was yesterday granted $50,000 bail after he was charged with robbing Elsa Phillips of a gold and diamond chain, valued $500,000. The robbery was said to have occurred on the 16th, October, 2018 at King Street, Georgetown.
Benjamin pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail, while the matter was adjourned until January 21st, 2019.
