China donates medical supplies to Linden Hospital

The People’s Republic of China has donated $6.2 million in medical supplies and equipment to the Linden Hospital Complex (LHC).

According to a Department of Public Information (DPI) press release, the donation was handed over on Wednesday, by the head of the Chinese Medical Brigade in Linden, Dr Wang Feng along with the other doctors of the team. 

The DPI also stated that the items included ultrasonic atomization, atomizer energy chips, syringe pumps, oxygen pumps, and infant oxygen hoods and will be disbursed to the Kwakwani Hospital as well as the Upper Demerara Hospital as the need arises.
