Prime Minister, Moses Nagamootoo has urged citizens not to be fearful, as the government remains strong and intact, the Department of Public Information (DPI) reported yesterday.

“If we have to go back to new elections, we are going to go strengthen ourselves so the next time around they cannot touch us by manoeuvres, by compromises and by dividing our people on the basis of race,” he said, according to DPI.

The Prime Minister was at the time addressing the questions from citizens on the no-confidence motion brought by the opposition PPP/C on Friday last. He was part of a ministerial “meet and greet” at Stabroek Market Square on Monday.
