A youth was granted bail in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, after he denied a possession of narcotics charge put to him.
The charge alleged that on December 24, at Oronoque Street, Troy Shepherd, 20, was found with 23 grammes of cannabis in his possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Shepherd pleaded not guilty to the charge, and Magistrate Leron Daly granted him $40,000 bail.
The matter was adjourned until January 5, 2019.
