The man whose body was discovered lying on Hadfield Street with a suspected stab wound on Christmas Day, has been positively identified as 36-year-old Darren Edwards.
The Sunday Stabroek was reliably informed that Edwards was positively identified by his sister, Ozillie Edwards, a resident of New Amsterdam, Berbice on Friday afternoon.
The police had said that Edwards, known as ‘Overdose’, was found lying on Hadfield Street, bleeding from a suspected stab wound to the stomach.
