The Police say they are investigating the murder of Sean Allister O’Brien Greene, 37, of Alberttown and #78 Village, Springlands, Corentyne, Berbice which occurred about 4 am today at Forshaw Street, Queenstown, in front of a popular hotel.
Investigations, police say, revealed that the victim was standing in front of the hotel with others when person(s) unknown approached and discharged rounds at him and fled the scene.
The victim was rushed to the GPHC where he was pronounced dead on arrival; he sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
No arrest has yet been made.
