(Trinidad Express) The woman who died after being robbed and shot on Friday night in Port of Spain, has been identified.
A police source named her as Tricia Emmauel, of Mt Pleasant, Arima.
Her family came forward yesterday morning, around the time that police issued a public appeal for help in identifying her.
The police had given a detailed description of Emmanuel – mixed descent, in her 30’s (approximate age), approximately six feet tall and medium built, with a light brown complexion, a red and black weave hairstyle, with a tattoo of a leopard on her left shoulder and a tattoo of a rose on her lower right leg.
At around 7:20pm, Emmanuel was a back seat passenger in a “PH” taxi when at the corner of Wrightson Road and Gatacre Street, Port of Spain, she was shot by a fellow passenger who snatched her gold chain and purse and fled.
Emmanuel died at hospital.
