(Jamaica Observer) He uttered certain comments yesterday after Harris delivered another of the thrilling performances he has become known for. Harris dropped California Dreamin’, a track made popular by American folk rock vocal group The Mamas & the Papas. All four judges took to their feet to applaud Harris following his rendition.

“Everytime you come on its like a blast. I have a feeling we are gonna be seeing you in about three weeks time at the finals,” Cowell told Harris amidst wild cheers from the studio audience.

Cowell wasn’t the only judge heaping compliments on Harris and his performance.

Renowned record producer Niles Rodgers, who is sitting in for regular judge Robbie Williams, was also taken by the performance of the 24-year-old Jamaican.

“I first saw you in Ibiza and you blew me away then. You are at the next level man. Everytime you perform you are unbelievable bro.”

This comment prompted Cowell to point to Rodgers’ credentials.

“This is coming from probably one of the best record producers in the world, just to put it into perspective. Niles is a legend.”

Lone female judge American actress Ayda Field noted that she was running out of words to describe Harris’s performance.

“Dalton, it is hard to even make comments because the screaming is always so loud after every one of your performances. I’m a California girl and you’ve got me dreaming about what you can accomplish as an artiste. You’re so good , I’m actually getting baffled for words to describe how amazing you are. I expect to stand everytime you perform. Dalton you are amazing.”

Louis Tomlinson, Harris’s coach and mentor, beamed with pride.

“Dalton, what some people might not know is sometimes, believe it or not, you struggle with your confidence and you ask me are you good enough to be in this competition. Take this reaction. Listen to that and take it in. This is the start of something very, very exciting, mate. I am so proud of you.”

Harris admitted that he struggled this week and thanked his supporters.

“This has been the hardest week in the competition for me. I’ve been struggling with a lot of things. Thank you, Louis, for being there and helping me get through them. I’m just happy to come out here and sing and you all appreciate it,” Harris responded.

During the results show to be broadcast today (Sunday), Harris will know if he will continue in the competition.
