Trinidad shaken by another Earthquake amid flooding

(Trinidad Express) Trinidad and Tobago was shaken by another earthquake late Monday night.

The UWI’s Seismic Research Centre recorded the magnitude 5.1 quake at 11.33p.m.

It was located 10 kilometres deep 88 kilometres west southwest of Port of Spain, 91 kilometres west northwest of San Fernando and 110 east southwest of Carupano, Venezuela.

A magnitude 5.1 tremor was also recorded at 12.35 p.m. Sunday.

And one occurred on Oct. 20 at 4:41 p.m. with a depth of 60 kilometres, and was also felt in nearby Barbados and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

No damage or injuries were reported.

On the afternoon of August 21, a magnitude 6.9 magnitude earthquake jolted Trinidad and the region, causing widespread damaging and terrifying the population.
