(Trinidad Express) Sheldon Sukhdeo is alive.

At about 12.03a.m. today, Sheldon Sukhdeo made contact with his relatives.

His mother’s phone rang out, and Sukdheo’s brother answered.

He took the call, which lasted just over four minutes, Express was told.

During the conversation, Sukhdeo answered several personal questions that only he would know the responses to.

Sukhdeo, 32, of Caroni Savannah Road, Charlieville, is the brother of murdered real estate and car dealer Sheron Sukhdeo.

Sheldon Sukhdeo was kidnapped last Sunday morning.

At about 4:10a.m. he was driving his white BMW X-5 motor vehicle in a northerly direction along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, when upon reaching the vicinity of the Gasparillo overpass, his vehicle was stopped by a Black SUV.

The SUV appeared to be a Kia Sorento, and had blue flashing lights similar to that of a police vehicle.

A man wearing dark clothing alighted the black SUV armed with a gun, and ordered the victim out of his vehicle and into the other car.

Sukhdeo acceded to the order and the black SUV drove away.

Sukhdeo has not been seen since.

Three people who were in his vehicle at the time – two women and a man all from Venezuela – have since been questioned by police.
