A man was yesterday remanded to prison for allegedly stealing a gold chain.
The charge stated that Seon Lewis at Stabroek Market robbed Nadine Reedy of a 13-pennyweight gold chain valued at $160,000.
The 36-year-old pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Magistrate Fabayo Azore adjourned the matter to February 7th and Lewis was remanded to prison.
