Dear Editor,
So what are we to understand? When officials give a public statement it is not to be heeded or accepted?
It has to be seen as a huge blunder and embarrassment that the public official who made the announcement on the centennial commemorative stamps did not know the position on national symbols.
And why, it must be asked, was this position not made known before this debacle?
