Visitors finding it impossible to score against home teams

Dear Editor,

What is happening in Sri Lanka now and happened in the West Indies a  few weeks ago is happening too often in the longer form of the game. The visitors find it impossible to score against the home team.

It happens more often with spin bowling, but too often even with pace. It is not good for the game. The ICC has to become much more involved in deciding the quality of surfaces on which the game is played internationally.

Yours faithfully,

Romain Pitt
