Law school feasibility study

Dear Editor,

It was reported in one of the dailies that the Council of Legal Education ( CLE ) was concerned that the feasibility study to set up the proposed Law School did not satisfy the Quality Assurance that is required.

For my part I am wondering what was meant by this concern. Is it that the study was deficient in not providing a statement and a plan as to how the administration of the school intends to implement a Quality Assurance Programme, once the institution is up and running or is the term Quality Assurance used to mean something else like looking at the activities we are undertaking to set up the much needed institution?

ours faithfully,

Dunstan. Barrow
