Dear Editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all those political parties contesting LGE on 12th November 2018 good luck in their endeavours.
As a Guyanese living in the UK I would like to see a fair and free election not besmirched by violence and intimidation. I would also like to ask that those who lose out on votes to accept the results once the LGE is fair and free.
I ask that Guyanese on all sides of the political divide go out and vote as their normally silent voice is needed in Guyana’s fledgling democracy.
