Justice for our Girls solidarity march

A scene from yesterday’s Justice for our Girls solidarity march along Brickdam, in Georgetown, where participants took aim at gender inequality and gender-based violence. The activity, which was organised by the University of Guyana’s Student Society Against Human Rights Violations in collaboration with Life in Leggings: Caribbean Alliance Against Gender-based Violence, saw participants from several local Gender based organisations including the Institute for Gender Studies, the Guyana Responsible Parenthood Association, Help and Shelter, the Guyana Rainbow Coalition and the Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination.
