Green could face Adonis challenge at today’s GRFU AGM

Who will be running for President and other posts within the Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) when the body holds its AGM today at the National Resource Centre?

That question seems to be a well-guarded secret since almost everyone in the inner circle of the union has been tight-lipped when asked for comments.

However, a source told this publication that incumbent President, Peter Green, along with former Presidents, Noel Adonis and Kit Nascimento could potentially be in the running for the top post once nominated.

Green has been at the helm since 2013 while Nascimento, is the current Patron of the Union. Adonis, Green’s predecessor, served several terms as President of the union. The AGM will begin at 11:00hrs. Members and club representatives are asked to attend.
