Fitness Express support for GAPF Novices Championships

Representative of Fitness Express Darren McDonald, recently presented a cheque to Treasurer of the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF), Colin Austin to aid in this year’s Novices Powerlifting Championships scheduled for Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

Leading supplement and fitness products supplier, Fitness Express, has once again answered the call for the discipline of powerlifting.

Representative of Fitness Express (47 Sheriff Street, Campbellville) Darren McDonald, recently presented a cheque to the Treasurer of the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF), Colin Austin to assist with this year’s Novices Powerlifting Championships.

The annual fixture is scheduled for Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

Other sponsors include Buddy’s Gym and the Trophy Stall.

The first time lifters will have a chance to exhibit their strength in order to break records and earn titles.

Athletes for Flight A are expected to be at the venue for the weigh-in which starts at 7am and the competition begins at 9am sharp.

Record holder, Lisa Oudit and body builder, Nadina Taharally are guest lifters at the first competition which will be held for 2018.

Admission is $500.
