NAMILCO corporate sponsorship for Futsal Championship

The National Milling Company (NAMILCO) has donated $750,000 to the impending Corona Beer/Petra Organization Futsal Championship.

The simple presentation ceremony which took place yesterday at the company’s Agricola location was conducted by NAMILCO’s Financial Controller Fitzroy McLeod.

Marketing Manager Afeeze Khan, said the entity is pleased to support the competition once more, as it’s geared towards promoting healthy lifestyles through the vehicle of sport.

Meanwhile Petra Organization Co-Director Troy Mendonca, thanked the company for their contribution, adding that the milling giants has always been a supporter of the sporting fraternity.

He further added that both organizations have the same vision of promoting football and healthy lifestyles amongst the respective communities.

McLeod stated that he views the event as a medium to promote wellness and healthy living, adding that he expects a wonderful tournament which will be supported by the respective communities.

The event which is in its third year, will commence on February 24th at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
