Titans TT Club/ Scotiabank TT tournament serves off today

Following the success of last weekend’s Banks Malta Supreme tournament, the Titans Table Tennis club has organised another action packed tournament, this time sponsored by Scotiabank.

The actions gets underway from 9am today at the Queen’s College Auditorium and will conclude tomorrow.

President and head coach of the Titans Table Tennis Club, Dwain Dick, indicated that the tournament will feature boys and girls in the 15 and 18 years-and-under categories competing for top honours.

The tournament will also see the 21-years-and-under Open and `B’ Class Open racquet wielders trading serves.

Kaysan Ninvalle and Jonathan Van Lange are expected to renew their rivalry in the boys under – 15 category while the anticipated clash between Miguel Wong and national junior champion Kyle Edghill should present a treat for spectators.

Other high-profile players expected to participate are junior Caribbean bronze medalist Priscila Greaves, Niron Bissu, Jamal Nichols, Neveah Clarkson and Thuraia Thomas.

Registration commences before the tournament begins and players are required to pay an entrance fee of $300 for the under 15 and 18 categories and $500 for the other categories.
