McPherson 166*, Singh 100 highlight Transport dominance

Despite rainfall over the two days of the Noble House Seafoods second-division tournament, Charwayne McPherson and Sachin Singh slammed centuries to see Transport Sports Club (TSC) record a dominant win over Everest Cricket Club last weekend.

Resuming on the second day at 136-0, the pair fell four runs short of the 200-run stand  with Singh who resumed on 70 departing soon after reaching  his century, getting a top edge off a delivery from Riyad Sattaur that went high up in the air and was comfortably taken by Usardiva Balgobin at point.

McPherson continued his onslaught, hammering 14 fours and two sixes by the time he brought up his hundred at the small Gandhi Youth Organization Ground.
