Following an arduous group campaign, the round of 16 stage of the sixth annual Milo Secondary Schools football tournament will kick off today at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
In the opening fixture at 13:00hrs, Annandale Secondary will oppose Uitvlugt while Friendship plays Sir Leon Lessons from 14:30hrs.
The final clash will pit Masters Academy against the Bishops’ High from 16:30hrs. Meanwhile, the round of 16 section continues tomorrow at the same venue.
At 13:00hrs, Buxton Youth Developers will oppose Vergenoegen Secondary from 13:00hrs while Christianburg/Wismar will take on Pure Masters from 14:30hrs.
In the final matchup, Morgan Learning Center will face off with St. Rose’s High from 16:30hrs. The final two matches in the round of 16 section concludes at the same venue on Monday.
Lodge Secondary will play the Business School at 17:00hrs while three-time defending champion Chase Academy will tackle Ann’s Grove from 18:50hrs.
Upon the conclusion of the round of 16 matches, the quarterfinals will kick-off on March 17th.
