`F’ Division Flyers defeated the Felix Austin College by 48 runs at Eve Leary when the fourth annual Police Commissioner’s T20 Cup cricket competition continued recently.

Batting first, `F’ Division Flyers posted 138-9 from their allotted overs. `F’ Division lost three quick wickets that of Michael Jobe, 16, Lennox Andrews, two and Skipper Trevor Benn for a solitary boundary.

However, former Gandhi Youth Organisation’s Shiveshwar Sankar sought to rebuild the innings before losing his wicket backing up too far.

He was on 28 when Raul Haynes played a delivery from Mario Parsram straight back to the bowler only for the ball to hit the bowler’s hand and crash onto the stumps.

Haynes tried to carry on but was run out for 14.

In their reply, Haynes, bowling right-arm, medium pace from the top, removed opener Kemol Savory with the first ball that clipped the off stump.

Benn struck in his first over to remove Parasram for four.

Haynes then produced a blistering second over where he almost had Rocky Hudson LBW before producing an almost unplayable delivery which broke the stumps.

Sankar then took the wicket of danger man Chemroy Kendall for 21 caught by Leon Crawford at long on to leave the score 62-6.

Marvin Peters duly go rid of Navindra Churla for a hard fought 18 while Gideon Byass made a cameo 20 but the target was never in sight and they were bundled out for 88 with three overs to spare.
