Everest coasted to a seven wicket win over St Stanislaus College while Transport, GCC and defending champions DCC secured wins in the final group matches of the Guyana Diabetic Association (GDA)/ Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) Under-17 T20 tournament.
St Stanislaus batted first reaching 50 without loss at the halfway stage of the innings but quickly collapsed and lost five wickets without adding a single run as Marlon Boele (4-15) and Raynaldo Mohamed (2-3) ripped through the inexperienced side.
Mohamed returned with the bat to score 23 but soaked up 40 deliveries as Saints chipped away at the wickets. However, Niran Bissu came in to smack 29 from 23 balls to see Everest home with four overs to spare.
