When the first leg of the inaugural Triple Crown Series runs off today at the Port Mourant Turf Club, two champion race horses, Jacking My Style and Spit Fire will go nose to nose in the feature C and Lower 1200m event.

Turfites get ready, the first leg of the inaugural Triple Crown Series will run off today at the Port Mourant Turf Club.

This is according to CEO of the Jumbo Jet Thoroughbred Racing Committee, Nasrudeen Mohamed Jr.

Mohamed Jr. said yesterday that the Committee will proceed with the three legs instead of cancelling the first leg which was scheduled to be staged last month but was then canceled due to inclement weather. The second leg will be staged on April 29 at Rising Sun while a date will be set for the finale.
