Guyana’s racquet wielders off to Commonwealth Games

Guyana’s table tennis delegation moments before departing the U.S en route to Australia for the 2018 edition of the Commonwealth Games.

Guyana’s table tennis delegation on Friday departed the JFK International airport to participate in the 2018  Commonwealth Games scheduled  for April 4th – 15th  Gold Coast, Australia.

The team should be well prepared after completing an intense training camp in the US under the instruction of 14 times men’s national TT champion and IFFF level one and three coach coordinator, Sydney Christophe.

Before that camp, the team participated in the Westchester Open championships and the Central America and Caribbean qualifying tournament where Shemar Britton and Trenace Lowe were notably Guyana’s top performers respectively.
