Fifteen-year old off-spinner Dwain Dick, spun Demerara to a comfortable innings and 56 runs win over the National Under-17 team on the final day of Guyana Cricket Board/ Hand-In-Hand Mutual Fire and Life Insurance Under-19 Inter-County three day tournament at Everest, yesterday.

The National Under-17 team, resumed yesterday morning, on 11-1 in their second innings, still training Demerara by 298 runs.

However, they failed to save the match, as they were dismissed for 253, a much improved second innings batting effort.

Off-spinner Dick, who surprisingly wasn’t selected in the National Under-17 squad, did the bulk of the damage, finishing with 6 for110 from 35 overs.
