Guyana Beverage Company/Oasis Water road race set for tomorrow in Berbice

The roads of Corentyne, Berbice will be transformed into a cycling battle ground tomorrow when the seventh edition of the Guyana Beverage Company/Oasis Water Cycle 75-mile race is staged from 10:00hrs.

Organized by the Flying Ace Cycle Club (FACC), the fixture is open to riders throughout Guyana.

The event rolls off  in front of the company’s office at Palmyra, proceeds to No.62 Village and then returns to the point of origin for the finish.

Ten sprint prizes will be on offer during the grueling fixture.

According to reports, the first 10 finishers along with the first three juniors and veterans will be handsomely rewarded. The first cyclist from FACC will also receive a special prize.
