Panthers maul Eagles 7-2 in East Bank under-11 football

Grove Hi-Tech, Agricola Red Triangle, Timehri Panthers and Swan FC, maintained their grip on the top four positions, when the East Bank Football Association / Ralph Green Under-11 League, continued on Saturday at the Diamond Community Centre Ground.

Undefeated Grove Hi-Tech downed Diamond Upsetters 2-0. Jamal Cordis bagged a double in the third and fifth minute. On the other hand, unbeaten Agricola crushed Diamond United 3-0. Captain Jonathan Andries tallied a hat-trick in the eighth, 10th and 25th minute.

Also, Timehri Panthers mauled Hauraruni Eagles 7-2. Omar Sam led the assault with a helmet-trick in the 17th, 18th, 29th and 30th minute, while team-mate Shaqueel Caleb recorded a hat-trick in the fourth, 19th and 21st minute.

For the loser, Josiah Ross netted in the eighth and 25th minute. Meanwhile, it was history day for Swan FC, as Aaliyah Boston became the first girl to score in the tournament during their 6-0 victory over Friendship.

Boston commenced the rout with an 11th minute strike, before Anderson Webber smashed five goals in the 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd and 26th minute.

Also, Mocha Champs thumped Herstelling Raiders 9-0. Jaheem Lewis registered a hat-trick in the fourth, ninth and 13th minute, while Matthew Forte recorded a hat-trick in the third, 23rd and 27th minute.

Adding a double was Kwesi Kelly in the seventh and 19th minute, while an own goal was netted in the 22nd minute. Samatta Point/Kaneville defeated Kuru-Kururu Warriors 2-0.  Sherlon Hetmyer and Jamal Farley scored in the sixth and 19th minute each.  The event continues on Saturday December 1st at the same venue.
