Tonica Archer placed second in the scaled (Novice) competition at the CrossFit Paramaribo ThrowDown this past weekend in Suriname.
Archer is a product from the Genesis Fitness Gym.
According to information reaching this daily, eight local athletes attended the two day CrossFit competition with athletes competing from Suriname, French Guiana and Guyana.
Athletes were required to compete against each other in five workouts over the two days.
The gladiators who represented the 592 were Archer, Semonica Duke, Delice Adonis, Paul Meusa, Thurston Pearce, Radesh Rameshwar, Timothy McAndrew and Randolph Leitch.
