Georgetown Football Club [GFC] and Northern Rangers will contest the finale of the Turbo Knockout Football Championship, following semi-final wins yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

The night belonged to Northern Rangers, who upset highly favoured Santos 4-2 on penalty kicks, after regulation and extra time ended 1-1.

Prior to the dramatic conclusion, Orin Yarde handed Santos the initial lead in the 16th minute, only for veteran utility man Nigel Denny to level proceedings in the 70th minute.

Meanwhile, GFC downed Mahaica Determinators 2-0 to earn their place in the grand finale. First half goals from Daniel Ross and Ralph Parris in the 11th and 31st minute sealed the result for the Bourda based outfit.

The losers will now faceoff in the traditional third place playoff.
