Bowling unit stands out

Assistant Coach/Manager Rayon Griffith

Guyana Jaguars Assistant Coach/Manager, Rayon Griffith believes that the bowling unit has elevated itself after two rounds of the Cricket West Indies Regional Four-Day tournament.

Following their recent nine-wicket victory over nemesis, Leeward Islands Hurricanes, Griffith spoke to Stabroek Sport, where he pointed to his team’s bowling performance as one of the reasons for the team winning its first two matches. According to the former national cricketer, the improvement in the bowling was mainly responsible for helping the team extend its unbeaten streak to 13 matches.

“We played some good cricket and we dominated them, we won every session and every day in the match,” Griffith stated.
