The Lucas Stock Index (LSI) rose 0.02 percent during the fourth period of trading in March 2018. The stocks of two companies were traded with 4,838 shares changing hands. There was one Climber and no Tumblers. The stocks of the Guyana Bank for Trade & Industry (BTI) rose 0.21 percent on the sale of 3,000 shares. In the meanwhile, the stocks of the Demerara Tobacco Company (DTC) remained unchanged on the sale of 1,838 shares. The LSI closed at 348.85.
