Car and Bike show for National Park

Come tomorrow evening the National Park will come alive when what is described as Guyana’s biggest car and bike show—Nik Shine Ride—kicks off and the finest and shiniest working old and new car, minibus and SUV face off for over $1 million in cash and prizes.

There will also be a Mr Guyana Big Bike stunt pop off and wheelie for US$1,000, according to organisers.

According to a press release, the event aims to feature all the champions who would have won car and bike shows across Guyana over the past two years. Some of the big names to be featured are Batman, Star Cars, Trex, Beast, Oakley, Wolverine, Joker and Spiderman but the big show will be the big bike square off.

Also to be featured will be a boy bicycle rally, tricks and skills for gifts and prizes, tons of fun for children with those with tickets receiving free ice cream, a party bag and free face painting. There will also be a cartoon character corner where photographs can be taken and a trampoline.

Music will be provided by the Slingerz Family and Father Moey while the X-Factor dancers will be on show.

The event is being supported by Gulf Motor Oil, GTT, Medicare Pharmacy, Trucks Maters, Two Brothers Gas Station, Stag Beer, USA Style and Fashion and Slingerz Radio 101.1 Power FM. For more information call 602-5617.
