Up to 30% of Jamaicans believed to gay, lesbian

(Jamaica Gleaner) Research commissioned by the Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All Sexuals and Gays (J-FLAG) in March 2019 has concluded that between seven and 30 per cent of the population are believed to be lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender (LGBT), and a large majority of employers (68 per cent) were willing to report violence and discrimination against them.

Skeete powers to girls U17 200m win

CARIFTA Games athletes, Matthew Gordon, Adriel Austin, Anisha Gibbons, Deshanna Skeete and Daniel Melville played the starring roles when the two-day Youth and Junior Championships concluded yesterday at the National Track and Field Centre.

Death tolls rise in surging Israel-Gaza fighting

DCC, GYO share points after final day wash-out 

Defending champs the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) and the Gandhi Youth Organization (GYO) were forced to settle for a draw after the final day was abandoned without a ball being bowled in their GISE/Star Party Rental/Trophy Stall first-division, two-day fixture at DCC yesterday.
