Tenders were yesterday opened at the National Procurement & Tender Administration Board for the supply and delivery of emergency pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
Ten companies presented bids for the project.
The scale of the bids would raise concerns about the ongoing requirement for large amounts of drugs on an emergency basis when this has been an issue for the government since 2015.
