North Georgetown, Redeemer, South Ruimveldt among winners

North Georgetown, Redeemer and South Ruimveldt were amongst the winners when the Smalta Girls Pee Wee Football Championship continued yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.

North Georgetown crushed Tucville 4-0. Martha Chance tallied a hat-trick in the 20th, 24th and 27th minute. Adding to the eventual scoreline was Renee Johnson with an eighth minute conversion.

Meanwhile, South Ruimveldt downed St Margaret’s 2-0. Brianna Elliott and Julian Younge scored in the eighth and 14th minute respectively. Likewise, Redeemer defeated FE Pollard by an identical scoreline. Leanna Hill recorded a brace in the ninth and 28th minute.

In other results, Marian Academy defeated Genesis 1-0, while St Stephens defeated West Ruimveldt via an identical scoreline. Also, Timehri and Smith Memorial battled to a 1-1 draw. Below features the complete list of results.
