Reach for a better you in 2020

This time of the year always gets me excited.

I start thinking about ways that I can improve myself moving into the new year in order to totally dominate it.

I want to help you dominate 2020 as well and so today I’d like to go over a few key things, which, if you do them, will make you a better person. There is no question about the things I’m addressing today; everything is factual, and you are guaranteed to be better in 2020 than you were in 2019 if you follow them faithfully.

1) Drinking

There are two parts to this and number one is consuming more water.

I want you drinking one gallon of water a day. I cannot stress the importance of proper hydration for looking amazing and feeling incredible, not to mention your body operating at max capacity. Remember that your body is made up of mostly water.

Another scientific fact is that if you are not consuming enough of the good stuff, also known as H2O, you are going to be living in a state of dehydration.

If you drink coffee and/or if you drink alcohol, you are worsening the problem. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, you should aim for one gallon of water every single day.

At first, you’re going to find that you are urinating quite a lot. This changes though once your body acclimatises and it will acclimatise after about a week of consistently drinking a gallon of water daily.

You will then find that with your body properly hydrated, you’re going to look better, you’re going to feel better, your skin is going to glow. Also, drinking an adequate amount of water has actually been proven to help you maintain a lean physique.

2) Stop drinking

Now remember I said there was a second part to this whole drinking thing? Here it is: chill out, that means stop drinking. If you want an automatic and almost instantaneous overnight change in how you feel, how you look and how productive you can be, stop drinking. And I mean alcohol.

3) Workout

The third thing that will make you better is breaking a daily sweat for at least 30 minutes.

This is the year I want you to take better care of yourself. Therefore, I am begging you to start exercising. You have to start getting up and getting your heart rate up for 30 minutes a day. Go out for a jog or a walk, go to the gym, lift weights, or whatever you want to do. But get active for 30 minutes a day.

If you do this, I promise you that every single aspect of your life will get better. You’ll be less stressed; you’ll be sexier because you won’t be as overweight. Ladies and gentlemen, you are going to feel amazing and you’re going to look incredible. Working out/exercising is the single best decision that I’ve ever made.

 

4) Get up an hour earlier

The fourth thing that will make you better in 2020, is to get up an hour earlier. This extra hour is yours, nobody else’s. You can use it for whatever you want. Maybe it will give you the time you need to go to the gym. Maybe you will spend it petting your dog after taking it for a walk. Maybe you will just meditate. Whatever you do, getting up earlier will change your life. Now I’m not saying to get up in the wee hours. It really all depends on what time you need to start your day. But if for instance you’re currently getting up at 8, then get up at 7; if you’re currently getting up at 7, get up at 6. I guarantee that if you start getting up 1 hour earlier during the week, it is going

to change your life. You’re going to have so much more time to be productive during the day. Now this comes at a cost. Typically, in order to do this, you need to go to bed an hour earlier. But the truth is you’re not missing anything by doing it. Go on, give it a shot.
