Bus driver to face trial over rape of woman with disability

A Route 42 (Georgetown-Timehri) minibus driver was yesterday committed to stand trial for the alleged rape of a woman with a disability.

Sherwin Reynolds, 44, was before a city court on a charge which stated that on April 19th, 2018, at Timehri, he engaged in sexual penetration of the woman.

At the conclusion of the preliminary inquiry into the charge yesterday, Magistrate Leron Daly informed Reynolds learnt that based on the whole of the evidence he was committed to stand trial at the High Court for the crime.
